New Welcome Page - Product Photo's Background

As Salaamu Alaykum!

We have added a Welcome Page to our Store; Do you like to see the category pictures or do you prefer to use the store menu?

So we are preparing to take photographs of all our stock, in the effort of trying to get photo's that provide clear detail. Do you lovely ladies think a blue or white background is better. We have used both blue and white in our photographs in the past, but we wondered what you thought. We would love to hear what you think.

Improved the Shopping Experience Insha'Allah.

The last week or so we have beenputting some intense work into updating and improving the site. We are excitedto share with you what we have been up to. Although the site design does notlook any different we do hope you will notice small changes which help you havea smoother shopping experience.

Products - We use to have over 300 listings in the catalogue, we listed eachvariation of a product as a separate listing. We put all the colour/styleoptions in one listing for a product type. So the site looks streamlined easierto navigate which enables finding your desired product with greater ease.

Categories - We have narrowed the amount of categories which we offer on thesite, with consolidating the products we feel that we save time when searchingfor products and there is a lot less trawling of product pages to be done.

Re-branding Products - We have taken the decision to put Scarves and Hijab Pins into bundles aswe feel they can offer better value for money this way.

Shipping Charges - In aneffort to try and make the shopping experience easier, we have been through thewhole catalogue of products and uniformed the shipping costs. We have tried toexplain how the 'Free Shipping' works in aclear fashion as sometimes we get emails expressing confusion on how the 'Free Shipping' works. Then we did tables showing the shipping cost of each item, so you can work out the costs before ordering. Hope it helpswhen you are making your choices.

Home Page - Currently when you enter the site, you land on the store pagestraight away. What do you think of having a home/welcome page? We have beenthinking of designing a home/welcome page which would include usefulinformation etc.
